The 2nd annual "Little Green Men" Days Festival is scheduled for Friday & Saturday, August 17 & 18, 2012 starting at 5:00 PM Friday evening. As always, there will be food, fun, & live music as well as vendor booths featuring a variety of arts, crafts, exhibits, Citizens Corps booths and more.

8:00 AM Booths Opening featuring a variety of arts, crafts, exhibits, displays and the U.S. Army Recruiting 30' Rock Climbing Wall 9:30 AM Living Spirit Worship Band on the WKDZ stage 10:00 AM 1955 Old Fashioned Baking From Scratch Contest Prizes will be awarded! (more details to come) 10:30 AM Best Dressed "Little Green Man" Contest for ages 18 & under - Prizes will be awarded! (more details to come) 11:00 AM Opening Ceremonies Ribbon cutting; National Anthem performed by Nashville Recording Artist Kayla Nettles; Invocation; Announcement of contest winners. 11:30 AM Geraldine Sutton Stith Author of "Alien Legacy", tells the story of the events that took place on the evening of August 21, 1955 during the Kelly Incident 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM Black Cat Cadillac on the WKDZ stage performing a variety of Southern Rock, Country, 70's Rock, & Soul 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM Performances by Kyle Whitaker with Rachel Brown 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM Tyler Matl Nashville country music artist seen on The Nashville Spotlight, Music City Gospel Review, CMA & GAC. See him live, on the WKDZ stage at "Little Green Men" Days 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM Performances by Remus Harris and Nancy Miller 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM The Drive On Band on the WKDZ stage performing Classic Rock, Country, & Southern Rock 5:30PM Special Guest Appearance by Nashville Recording Artist Kayla Nettles 5:45 PM Raffle Drawing Winner receives an outdoor grill & accessories ($100+ value) Click here for details 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM "Glennie Lankford Outdoor Gospel Sing" featuring the RidgeRunners & Blue Grace plus performances by Bro. Edward Elliot, Nancy Miller w/ Eva and Eden Miller, and much more! Bring your lawn chairs or sit in the bleachers, enjoy great concession food, fellowship and a evening of praising the Lord.
2nd Annual "Little Green Men" Days Festival
The days events will start with booths opening at 8:00 AM and will conclude with an old fashioned Gospel singing from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. See "Schedule of Events" below. There will be food vendors on site including: Bar-B-Q On Wheels & Papa John's Pizza, Don't miss the Kentucky style Brunswick Stew aka "Alien stew" cooked in cast iron kettles.
Make Contact Amateur Radio (HAM) operators will have the opportunity to make contact with the "Little Green Men" at the festival and will receive a certificate Click Here. We are excited about the response and will broadcast who made contact from the stage and it will also go out during the all day live PEN radio broadcast at Little Green Men Days.
